About Merrimac The Merrimac Group was founded by Evan Evans, who from 1993 on, served primarily as a consultant to non-profit developers of assisted living, including political subdivisions, community development corporations, foundations, and mainly rural hospitals seeking to bring assisted living to their communities. In 1996, Margaret Evans became a part of The Merrimac Group. She continues to carry on the Merrimac consulting tradition begun by her husband and is also responsible for marketing, training, community education, and policy development for the company. She is a Certified Senior Advisor, Certified Assisted Living Manager (Assisted Living Federation of America) and Certified Assisted Living Manager (Southwest Texas University – San Marcos). |
